Education for Development (EFD) is an international non governmental organization (NGO) working with Vietnamese partners to improve and expand their educational services for disadvantaged children and youth.
EFD firmly believes these services should be provided and managed by Vietnamese organisations. Thus, it is EFD’s mission to assist Vietnamese organisations with the resources and capacity to provide effective, direct service to disadvantaged children and youth so they can have the opportunity to develop themselves to their full potential.
We support our local social organization partners (special education schools, vocational training centers, shelters) in the three areas where they have expressed their highest need:
- Infrastructure
- Training
- Management and Advisory Service
EFD believes that by offering these key areas of support these organisations will have a greater opportunity to build the capacity of their organisation and increase their overall sustainability in providing quality education to disadvantaged children and youth.
