As a result of our freshly ended “Dine for a good cause” event, an amount of donation has been collected. As 7 days gradually went by, the number has finally topped out at 717 USD (approximately equivalent to 14,850,000 VND) which is going to be spent on local projects as stated in our brochures. Besides, we have also attained a priceless consequence: higher social awareness as well as sustained approval in the future.
On behalf of EFD, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone dined at Snap café and generously donated to our funds. Also, special thanks to Snap café for hosting this meaningful event from 5 to 11 September, to The Word and AsiaLIFE – the two local English magazines – for helping EFD spread the word to the public.
Even though the 2011 “Dine for a good cause” event is now closed, we strongly believe that it has deeply impressed many philanthropists and will receive even more profound support next year. We shall keep dedicating our work to disadvantaged children and youth for their accessing to the essential education. Once again, thank you very much for joining us this September and please uphold your support for this fundraiser next year as it truly makes a difference!
